"FINOWEN has been great so far. The installation is much less expensive and less disruptive than a satellite installation. My installation was quick and the crew got my home network connected without any hitches. We have had the mid-range service ($60/mo) for a bit more than a month and it works fine for our uses: email, surfing, internet radio, webcam and video (lower res). We're probably going to switch to voice-over IP for our phones (saving money and getting additional services like voicemail by email), but haven't done that yet. It's much faster than dialup and does not have the significant latency issue of satellite (satellite has a long delay in each response, making it very annoying for things like surfing and games). Weather (including snow, rain, fog) has not apeared to affect service and, as near as I can tell, we've had 100% up time..
